Secure Upload
Your manuscript is encrypted the instant you upload it. It travels over TLS 1.3 and is stored with AES-256 encryption at rest. No one can intercept it.
Editor Assignment
We match you with a genre-specialist editor. Only this one person receives access to your manuscript — through a secure, access-controlled portal.
Private Reading and Analysis
Your editor reads your manuscript in a secure environment. Notes, annotations, and reports are created within our encrypted system — never on personal devices.
Encrypted Delivery
Your feedback report is delivered securely through your account. All files remain encrypted in transit and at rest until you download them.
Permanent Deletion
Within 30 days of delivery, your manuscript and all related files are permanently deleted from our servers. You can request immediate deletion at any time.

We will never publish, share, or reproduce your manuscript without your explicit written permission. We will never use your work to train AI models. We will never share your personal data with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
Your intellectual property remains 100% yours at all times. Submitting a manuscript to The Readview does not transfer any rights of any kind. We exist to help you write a better book — nothing more, nothing less.

Who can read my manuscript?
Only the single editor assigned to your project. No other employees, contractors, or third parties have access to your work.
Will my manuscript be shared or published?
Never. We will not publish, share, reproduce, excerpt, or reference your manuscript — in part or in full — without your explicit written permission.
Is my manuscript used to train AI?
Absolutely not. Your manuscript is never used to train machine learning models, language models, or any automated system. This is a core commitment.
How long do you keep my manuscript?
Your files are permanently deleted within 30 days of feedback delivery. You can request immediate deletion at any point by contacting us.
Can I get an NDA before submitting?
Yes. We're happy to sign a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement before you submit any material. Request one through your account or email us at privacy@thereadview.com.
What encryption do you use?

What happens if there's a data breach?
In the unlikely event of a security incident, we will notify all affected users within 72 hours, provide a detailed report, and take immediate remediation steps.
